As a Cross-Functional Data Engineer / Data Analyst (f/m/d) in the areas of Finance, Controlling, and Project & Product Controlling, you will analyze, process, and visualize financial, project, and product data. In doing so, you create valuable decision-making foundations for corporate management, project evaluation, and the optimization of product profitability.
Your mission
You will support the collection, processing, and analysis of data. You create clear dashboards and reports, develop meaningful KPIs and metrics in collaboration with the business departments, and work closely with various teams.
In the area of finance and corporate controlling, you will prepare financial analyses, forecasts, and variance reports, develop and maintain BI dashboards, and contribute to budget planning as well as monthly and annual closings. In addition, you will drive the automation of reporting processes.
In project controlling, you will analyze project budgets, costs, and revenues, monitor project progress and resource utilization, and prepare status reports and profitability analyses. You will also support project planning and evaluation.
In product controlling, your focus will be on calculating and analyzing product costs and contribution margins, evaluating product profitability, and monitoring margin development. You will support pricing strategies and product-related decisions, and develop KPIs to assess product performance.
Your profile
You hold a degree in Economics, Business Administration (BWL) with a focus on Controlling or Finance, or in Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a comparable field, and have at least 3 years of professional experience in the relevant area.
You possess strong technical and professional skills, including programming experience in Python, R, and SQL. You have experience in data visualization and data management as well as in finance, project, and/or product controlling. Ideally, you also have some exposure to machine learning. Analytical thinking, fluency in German, very good English skills, a high level of accuracy, and a structured working style complete your profile.
